The Series 700-3000 Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen "Nozomi" train was introduced in 1999 as a replacement for some of
the 300 series Nozomi services. The full set consists of 16 cars. The Kato version is run by JR Central,
the Tomix version is the 3000 subseries as run by JR West.
