JNR Series 115, introduced in 1981 for Minobu Line in Yamanashi and Shizuoka Prefecture, was painted in an
attractive color-scheme with wines red and snowy white, symbolizing wine made and Mount Fuji's white snow viewed
from vineyards in the province. While we have produced the series 115 previously, its production now will include
precise representation of its characteristic half automatic and half manual doors' grips with modified molds.
Also, the train configuration is now made with 4 cars, just like the prototype at the time of introduction.
