Introduced earlier this year in Kyushu, the most southern major island of Japan, the Series 800 is the latest generation of the well-known Shinkansen “bullet train.” The white streamlined body with dull red accents is a perfect blend of speed and power. Currently operating in the southern region of Kyushu with 70% of its route under tunnels, this new kid on the rails is able to achieve speeds in excess of 260 km/h despite inclines up to 35%.
Additional set information:
- Each car bears a precisely printed car number.
- Important Note: In order to run this "Shinkansen", please use curved tracks or curved viaduct track with a radius of R315mm and above.
