The TAKI 35000 Tank Cars are "standard tank cars", which were jointly designed by the train car manufacturer for the first time.
Since 1966, approximately 1108 of these 35 ton tank cars have been manufactured. Ever since JNR era, it had been used in many
regions in Japan until it was recently taken over by their successors the TAKI 43000 and TAKI 1000 cars.
