It was the Series 0 that appeared as the first Shinkansen bullet train in 1964 when the Tokaido Shinkansen Line
was inaugurated. Since the introduction of the original Series 0, continual improvements were made to its
accommodations until the final version, with #2000 and higher, was developed in 1981. With the passing of
nearly 40 years since its debut, most of them are no longer in use yet remain in the memory of many people.
