Fuji Kyuko, a privately-owned railroad company, has obtained from JR East Japan JR Series 165, which was used previously as JR Panorama Express Alps. The train's body was repainted in an entirely different image to make its debut in carrying tourists to scenic resort areas at the foot of Mount Fuji. The cartooned Mount Fujis on the body side of the 6 cars are all different from each other in their expression, creating a unique character for the train.
